A Succint Review of Single Point Incremental Forming of Polymers

Abstract

The SPIF is a promising procedure in achieving unique and small series production. The paper’s aim is to present a succinct review of the latest research of the SPIF of polymers regarding process parameters and failure mechanisms. There are also presented some considerations regarding costs and energy consumption and the differences between SPIF of polymers and metallic materials.
