Aspects of the Publishing Contract

Abstract

The study aims to highlight some specific aspects of the publishing contract, a bilateral act through which certain patrimonial rights held by the copyright holder are transferred to the publisher. The focus is on the presentation of the scope of the publishing contract, as well as on the object of the contract - which consists of the specific services of each party, highlighting the legislative inadvertences and the problems encountered in practice.
