Abstract

All species of Phyllosticta described on Photinia up to now are definitely not species of the genus Phyllosticta. On Photinia × fraseri a pathogen was found which - based on morphological characteristics - definitively belongs to Phyllosticta and is named Phyllosticta photiniae-fraseri.
