Entschädigung der Exekutivmitglieder in Zürcher Gemeinden
Abstract
This article deals with the question of how much compensation is paid to the members of city and local councils in the Canton of Zurich who perform their office avocationally. In addition we will examine which factors influence the level of compensation. It turns out that varying levels of total compensation are mainly due to two factors, namely the number of residents and the function performed. Compared to the total compensation, the compensation per hour could only be explained statistically to an insufficient degree. The median value indicates a high stability and is approx. 57 Swiss Francs.
