For reviewers

Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Acta Universitatis Cibiniensis. Technical Series undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by members of the Scientific Committee and external experts. This means that the reviewers' identities are concealed from the authors, and the authors' identities are concealed from the reviewers throughout the review process .

Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
Relevance: Does the article align with the journal's Aims and Scope?
Originality: Is the work novel? Reviewers should look for plagiarism or redundancy. The Editorial Board uses the Similarity Check System to screen for plagiarism, but reviewers are the second line of defense.
Technical Quality: Is the methodology sound? Are the results clearly presented and supported by data?
Clarity: Is the English language clear and professional?

Ethical Guidelines for Reviewers
Confidentiality: Any manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document. It must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any observation that an argument has been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation.
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

Promptness
Because the journal operates on a strict annual schedule (Submission: Nov 1st; Final Version: Dec 1st), reviewers are expected to provide their reports promptly to allow authors sufficient time for corrections.
